About Bamboobon

We are Bamboobon, a student-led environmental group founded by Azann, En Jia, Manas, Thesa, Shannon, and Sreelakshmi from NUS College. Our mission is to make the world a better place by addressing harmful farming practices and introducing sustainable alternatives. Our solution? Bamboo—a versatile, eco-friendly resource with the potential to revolutionize agriculture and environmental sustainability.

Rooted in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand, our movement has flourished thanks to the unwavering support of Ajarn Sommai and Ubon Ratchathani University. By tackling the gaps in Thailand's bamboo supply and demand chain, we aim to reduce haze pollution caused by harmful farming practices while simultaneously improving farmer incomes and fostering sustainable livelihoods.
